Now that we're done, we realized we had this blog set up so you have to log in to leave comments. Sorry dudes!

Monday, Sky treated us to a motel, which was like paradise. We brought in the contents of the car (a complete disaster at this point) and sorted everything out, which resulted in finding the mp3 player we lost in North Carolina, and a shirt that I haven't worn this entire time. Good music! Clean clothing! Not a fair trade for losing Sky, but better than nothing.

On Tuesday I said goodbye to my partner in crime at the Greyhound station, and began my noble effort to end homelessness and unemployment in Richmond -- starting with me. I met a bunch of friends who gave me $20 for a campground, two phone numbers in case I need help, and like five hugs.

On Wednesday I met some more friends, and went home with Natalie.

Yesterday I met even more friends who were having a spontaneous dance party. Everyone is super nice, and they have crazy dance parties? I like this place more every day!

Worst part about Virginia: They don't sell fireworks here?! How am I supposed to know which month it is without big tents of explosive goodies in grocery parking lots? So if anyone wants to mail me fireworks illegally, just tell me and I will go pick them up at:

Well, we lasted two months, we made it to New York, we didn't go to jail. The trip is over, but I feel like it's just beginning...

so who minds?

I for one didn't mind logging in--and besides, the real trip is in your mind anyway. I was truly hoping you'd be able to see the fireworks in DC--it's said that they're the most awesome anywhere, but it's hard to believe they could be better than the final 60 seconds in Corbett last night...WOW!

[by the way, who is this General Delivery, and what do you know about him?---sometimes it's best to look out for those military types. and remember, Delivery is devilry, if you mis-spell it!] Love ya--pops
